At no extra cost, Disney+-only subscribers can watch some live sports and a limited set of Hulu series and films in the app. Subscribers who also pay for ESPN+ can watch select ESPN+ content inside Disney+, but not Pay-Per-View events.

Disney's December 4, 2024 release: ESPN on Disney+ launched with an ESPN tile and hub. Subscribers to the Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ bundle get ESPN+ content in the Disney+ app, and standalone Disney+ subscribers get 'a curated selection of live sports events, studio shows, and ESPN Films from ESPN+, as well as a select collection of TV series and films from Hulu'. A December 5, 2024 capture of the US homepage adds an FAQ saying subscribers without ESPN+ still receive a curated selection of ESPN+ content 'for no additional cost'; a December 4 capture does not mention it.
