Disney's September 25, 2024 explainer says paid sharing is now available in the US: a subscription is meant for one Household, and people outside it 'will need to sign up and pay for their own subscription or be added as an Extra Member'. In the US an Extra Member costs $6.99/month on Disney+ Basic and $9.99/month on Disney+ Premium, with one Extra Member slot per account; it was not available to Disney Bundle or partner-billed subscribers. Variety reported the same terms that day.
