Free US users can get Gemini's personalized morning summary of email, calendar and chats, if they connect their Google apps and turn on Memory. It is rolling out gradually.

Gemini's release notes (May 19, 2026): 'Daily Brief is starting to roll out to all Google AI subscribers 18 and over in the United States.' Google's Daily Brief help page listed on August 3, 2026: 'Have a Google AI subscription. This feature is only available with a Google AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra subscription on your personal account.' By September 7, 2026 that requirement was gone; users still need to be 18 or over, in the US, on a personal account with Personal Intelligence, Google Workspace connected and Memory on, and 'We’re releasing Daily Brief to more people gradually'. 9to5Google reported on September 8: 'As of last Friday, Gemini Daily Brief no longer requires a Google AI subscription in the US.'
