AI Pro now gets 300 Thinking prompts a day and Ultra 1,500, on top of the Pro model's 100 and 500

Google's Gemini Apps limits page listed one shared 'Thinking & Pro' limit on January 3, 2026: 'Up to 100 prompts / day' for Google AI Pro and 'Up to 500 prompts / day' for Google AI Ultra. By January 15, 2026 Thinking had its own row: 'Up to 300 prompts / day' (AI Pro) and 'Up to 1500 prompts / day' (AI Ultra), with Pro unchanged at 100 and 500. 9to5Google reported the change on January 14, 2026, quoting Google: 'Previously, usage of our reasoning models pulled from a shared pool.' Free users stayed at 'Basic access'.
