Max (now HBO Max) said in its help center on June 4, 2024 that the monthly Ad-Free and Ultimate plans rise by $1/month, the yearly Ad-Free plan by $20 and the yearly Ultimate plan by $10, while With Ads prices stay the same. Max's plans page shows the old prices on May 28, 2024 and the new ones on June 5, 2024; Variety reported the new prices applied to new subscriptions from June 4. The plans were renamed Standard and Premium in February 2025.
