WBD's April 12, 2023 announcement added a third plan for the May 23, 2023 launch of Max: Ultimate Ad Free at $19.99/month or $199.99/year, with 4 concurrent streams, up to 4K UHD resolution, 100 offline downloads and Dolby Atmos sound. HBO Max's plans page lists only With Ads and Ad-Free on May 6, 2023; Max's plans page lists all three on launch day, with With Ads ($9.99) and Ad-Free ($15.99) at unchanged prices. The plan was renamed Premium in February 2025.
