Microsoft Support said a Microsoft 365 Family or Personal purchase 'includes 60 minutes of free Skype calls to mobiles and landlines every month', usable from the Skype Dial Pad on the web or in Teams Free after Skype closed in May 2025. By November 2025 Microsoft's Skype retirement FAQ added: 'Skype minutes will be removed from Microsoft 365 Personal and Microsoft 365 Family subscription benefits beginning March 2026', and 'No action is needed. The 60 minutes of Skype calls will be removed automatically'. It points subscribers to Teams Free group calls, not calls to phone numbers. A Family subscriber reported on Microsoft Q&A that the minutes stopped working on March 3, 2026.
