From April 10, 2026, 4K/UHD on Prime Video is exclusive to the $4.99-a-month Prime Video Ultra add-on, Amazon announced on March 13, 2026. The Prime Video benefit included with Prime keeps HD, HDR10 and HDR10+, adds Dolby Vision, and rises to 4 concurrent streams (from 3) and 50 downloads (from 25); Dolby Atmos stays Ultra-only. Engadget noted 4K had been available to all Prime Video members for years.
