Amazon announced on March 13, 2026 that on April 10, 2026 its Prime Video Ad Free subscription ($2.99 a month) would become Prime Video Ultra at $4.99 a month in the US, with up to 5 concurrent streams (previously 3), up to 100 downloads (previously 25), exclusive 4K/UHD and Dolby Atmos. Annual Prime members can instead pay $45.99 a year; Ad Free had been monthly only. Live TV and events such as sports may still show ads with Ultra.
