On April 1, 2026 Shimrit Ben-Yair, Google's VP for Google Photos and Google One, posted on X: 'we’re expanding Google AI Pro’s storage offering from 2TB to 5TB — at no additional cost.' Google's US Gemini plans page listed AI Pro with '2 TB of total storage for Photos, Drive, and Gmail' on April 1, 2026 (13:43 UTC) and '5 TB of total storage for Photos, Drive, and Gmail' on April 2, 2026, still at $19.99 a month. 9to5Google reported the increase applies 'for all users globally'.
