Google's March 8, 2023 post introduced 'dark web report in the U.S. to help you better monitor your personal information': it scans the dark web for info such as 'your name, address, email, phone number and Social Security number' and notifies members if it's found. 'Dark web report will start rolling out over the next few weeks to members across all Google One plans in the U.S.' The US plans page did not list it on April 15, 2023 and listed 'Monitor the dark web' on every plan on April 20, 2023. Google One Help later said that 'Starting late July 2024, dark web report will no longer require a Google One membership', so it stopped being a members-only benefit (not recorded as a loss for members).
