Google One Help: 'Starting June 20, 2024, VPN by Google One will be discontinued.' (An April 16, 2024 copy of the same page said June 10, 2024; by May 16 it said June 20.) The page points to other products: Google Fi's VPN, the built-in VPN on Pixel 8 and, through a June 3, 2024 system update, on Pixel 7 devices, or other VPNs in the Play Store. The US plans page listed 'VPN for multiple devices' on every plan on January 1, 2024 and no VPN on June 1, 2024. News coverage gave low usage as the reason (secondary).
