Microsoft Support (January 16, 2025): 'Existing subscribers with recurring billing enabled can switch to other plans without Copilot or AI credits like Microsoft 365 Basic, or, for a limited time, to our new Microsoft 365 Personal Classic or Microsoft 365 Family Classic plans.' These 'include the following benefits at previous plan prices (varies by region)': 1 TB (Personal) or up to 6 TB (Family) of storage, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote with offline access and premium features, Defender, ad-free Outlook and Clipchamp. You switch through Manage > Cancel subscription, and the plan changes at renewal. The Classic plans 'are limited offers and may not always be offered as a plan option.' The Classic plans were not listed on the US compare page, which sells Personal and Family only with Copilot.
