Microsoft announced on Jan 16, 2025 that Personal and Family now include Copilot and cost $3 more a month.
An archived copy of the US compare page from early Jan 16, 2025 still shows Personal at $6.99 a month.
By Jan 17, 2025, an archived copy of the same page shows Personal at $9.99 and Family at $12.99.
Microsoft said current subscribers pay the new price from their next renewal.

Microsoft Support's AI credits page (January 16, 2025): 'Microsoft 365 Personal and Family Subscribers get 60 AI credits per month', and 'AI benefits are only available to the subscription owner and cannot be shared with additional Microsoft 365 Family members.'
