Sling's August 19, 2025 press release launches Sling Select nationwide that day at $19.99 per month, with channels such as Fox News, National Geographic, NFL Network, FX and FS1. In markets with local ABC, NBC or FOX a surcharge applies: $5 per month with one or two local channels, $10 with all three. Sling's Select page, archived August 21, 2025, lists it. It is the cheapest monthly plan, but the $4.99 Day Pass launched a week earlier costs less, so under the direction rules this is a new, pricier-than-cheapest option (neutral).
