The Desk reported on March 21, 2025 that Fubo discontinued the Essential plan earlier that month, about three months after launch; a Fubo spokesperson said customers preferred having their regional sports networks during baseball season. Existing Essential subscribers can keep it; new customers are directed to Pro ($85 plus regional sports fees) or Elite ($95). Fubo's own plan list still named Essential in its April 10, 2025 update (archived April 22, 2025); the version updated August 8, 2025 (archived August 10, 2025) lists three featured plans: Pro, Elite and Latino.
