Starz confirmed to TechCrunch on August 30, 2023 that it is lowering its annual subscription price from $74.99 to $69.99, with existing subscribers seeing the new price in their next billing cycle; Alison Hoffman, president of Domestic Networks, said it was meant to “reward our existing customers”. Streaming Better (August 30, 2023) quotes Starz's email to annual subscribers: the price is reduced to $69.99 every 12 months, from the next billing cycle after August 28, 2023, and customers on a free trial or offer change only after it ends. STARZ's sign-up page data listed the yearly plan at $74.99 every 12 months in an archived copy from June 8, 2023.
