The Help Center's Family Plan article (its text comes from the Help Center data) now says: 'You also can't resell slots on your Family Plan for cash or other items of monetary value. Duolingo reserves the right to block new members from being added to Family Plans or terminate Family Plans where we have determined that the slots have been resold.' An archived copy of August 26, 2026 does not have this paragraph; one of September 21, 2026 does, and a live check on September 26, 2026 confirms it. The same update changed who can't be invited from someone with 'an active Super Duolingo subscription' to someone with 'an active paid Duolingo subscription'. The plan still covers the manager plus 5 family members or friends. The date is the first archived copy showing the rule.
