Amazon's "2023 Kindle Unlimited Price Change" page says "The price of the monthly Kindle Unlimited membership increased from $9.99 to $11.99." From May 11, 2023, new customers saw the new price when signing up; for existing members it took effect "after June 18, 2023, on the date of their next monthly renewal." Trials and promotional offers started before May 11, 2023 kept their discounted rate until they ended. Until July 31, 2023, existing members could lock in $9.99/month by buying 6 or 12 months of Kindle Unlimited upfront. Amazon's US Kindle Unlimited FAQ page says "$9.99 USD/month" in an archived copy of January 10, 2023 and "$11.99 USD/month" in one of May 16, 2023. The FAQ page, checked live on September 26, 2026, still says $11.99 USD/month plus taxes. The Price FAQ page is cited from an archived copy of July 20, 2023.
