Midjourney's docs Subscription Plans page, archived Jun 10, 2023, still lists a Free Trial column with '0.4 hr/lifetime' of Fast GPU time and CC BY-NC 4.0 usage rights. The archived copy from Jun 15, 2023 lists only Basic, Standard and Pro and no Free Trial. The Help Center's Free Trials article (archived Mar 16, 2025; live check Sep 26, 2026) says 'No free trial is currently available in Discord or the midjourney.com website', with a limited trial only in the niji · journey mobile app. News reports say trials were already paused before the docs page changed: PetaPixel (Mar 30, 2023) quotes the founder 'temporarily disabling free trials' on Mar 28, 2023, citing 'extraordinary demand and trial abuse', and Forbes (May 5, 2023) reported they were turned back on only until the end of that weekend for the V5.1 launch. The date here is the first archived copy of the official page without the trial.
