In archived copies of STARZ's sign-up page up to July 24, 2023, the default monthly plan reads “Start with a 7-day free trial and then a monthly recurring cost of $8.99/mo”, and the July 2022 page's buttons read “Start Your Free Trial”. From the August 4, 2023 archived copy the monthly plan reads “Recurring cost of $9.99/mo. Cancel anytime.”, with no trial; later copies keep the monthly plan without a trial, and STARZ's discount offers say “Offer does not include free trial”. STARZ's help center (archived November 29, 2023) says some subscription options provide a free trial and that discounted offers and promotions do not. The live sign-up page (September 2026) still shows a 7-day free trial on the annual plan for one of its two checkout versions, so this record covers the monthly plan only. Dated on or before the first archived copy without the trial; the price rise at the same time is a separate record.
